Vessel Furniture is a direct buying platform with manufacturers operating across the Asia Pacific, Americas and Europe. The website will allow you to purchase suitable furniture for a range of commercial venues and increasing value by removing the middleman through the website.
Overview
Bseated Global is a leading manufacturer and supplier of commercial furniture throughout Australia. They have a range of over 3000 products including a range of cafe furniture which is locally produced or imported from Europe, Asia and the USA and has successfully fitted out a variety of commercial interiors including cafes, restaurants, bars, hotels, nightclubs, resorts and even airports.
Goal
The website's key goal is to bring a new way of buying furniture for B2B business - leverage technology to eliminate the middle man and extra transaction cost and make buying and selling furniture more efficient.
Our target markets are Commercial project owners such as hotels, apartments, housing and Interior designers. Most users are usually will have several projects from small to large scale.
UX process
We started by interviewing a few or retail business owners and also interior designers. After the interview, we found the pain points are:
- Timely delivery
- Cost efficiency (in terms of delivery cost and quantity-wise)
- Reassurance of quality
Since most of the furniture is made in China, sometimes the language barrier can be challenging. In most cases, they could receive different colours and materials and can go as far as a different product. The waiting period is also a painful process since they can't track delivery easily.
Solutions:
In order to achieve our goals, we offer the ability to connect users and share the delivery costs and timeline so the other users can easily pick which delivery they want to get on board with.
They will first need to Fill in the VESSEL and share the space with their social circle or the public who will need to send some furniture and ship them together. By doing this they will be able to have a more flexible order in terms of quantity and also delivery timeline. We also offer a Live tracking system on the delivery.
On top of that, we offer 24hr help and support centre that is based in Australia to help with any order inquires.
